CHRIS COLFER was born on May 27, 1990 in Franso, Calafornia, USA. During his young life ages he went through many fases wanting to become many things. But he didn't realize he loved the arts until he was in his second or third year of High School. As he went through High School he was in the speech and debate club, drama, the F.F.A, He was president of the writters' club, editor of the school litery magazine and captain of dination imagination. During High school he worked part time jobs including a dry cleaner and cookie scooper in the school cafitiria. In 1998 he had sugery on his neck. That is why there is a scar there but when he performs he must cover it with make up. He practices Sai and has many trophies and metals from speech and debate. When he was 14 he directed a benifit play for the Valley Children's Hospital. In his senior year of high school he directed his school play "Shirley Tod" a spoof of Swiney Tod. he also started in the school musical Mr. lovett. When he graduated in June 2010 he spent his summer figuring out what to do. He was going to go to College unless he made the role he wanted for the new show to be premired in 2009, GLEE. He auditioned for the role of Artie but when the directors saw his talent they wrote in another charecter just for him. He now plays Kurt Hummel a gay boy who loves to sing, dance and do make over on the show GLEE. Which is now half way through the first season. Chris Colfer now lives in Los Angeles and works on his new show GLEE. He loves life and thinks that his job is fun, rewarding and pays well.
