Season 1, Episode 21: FUNK

The glee club are all excited about Regionals because they have Jesse and the judges know all of Vocal Adrenalins tricks. But then they go to the auditorium to discover Vocal Adrenalin on stage. Jesse announces to New Directions he has gone back to Vocal Adrenalin. They then perform "Another One Bites The Dust" to show they are ready for Regionals. The glee club return to the choir room to find it has been tee-pied. While cleaning up, Sue walks in. She announces that she let Vocal Adrenalin into the Auditorium. She has a trophy with her and talks about the Cheerios Nationals competition coming up on the weekend. She says she wants to make the choir room her own personal trophy hall. Will smashes her trophy. Terri and Will's divorce becomes final. Terri tells him that he will always be that 16 year old boy to her. Will tells the kids they will regret letting Vocal Adrenalin get to them. Will says they should find a way to get back at them. Puck and Finn slashed the tires of a SUV. Finn and Puck get in trouble with Figgins and they agree to get a job to pay back Shelby for slashing the car tires. Will runs into Sandy Rhyerson and he tells Will that Vocal Adrenalin has one weakness- FUNK. They can never get Funk right. Will gives the kids an assignment to come up with a Funk song. Quinn and Mercedes both seem excited about the assignment. Rachel tells Will that Vocal Adrenalins plan was to destroy the heart of glee right before Regionals. This gives Will an idea. Will pretends to fall in love with Sue and complements her. He sings "Tell Me Something Good" to her. Puck and Finn get a job at sheets and things were Terri is their boss. Following the demands of a customer, Puck, Finn and Sandy perform "Loser." Terri notices as young Will inside of Finn. Sue writes in her journal that she is falling for Will. Will gives her flowers and asks her out for Wednesday night. She says yes. Terri admits to Finn glee club was the reason her marriage ended. She knows that she tried to crush peoples dreams. So she helps Finn and tells him to type up 'funk' on iTunes. She then promotes him for no reason. Quinn brings in a bunch of other pregnant teenagers and she sings "It's A Man's Man's Man's World" with the other girls backing her up. She sang the song because it speaks to her and the other pregnant girls. Will does not show up for his date with Sue. He tells Sue his plan all along was to give her a taste of her own medicin. He planed to crush her heart right before HER Nationals competition. Will learns the Cheerioes are upset and scared because Sue has not shown up to school for days and if they miss Nationals they could lose scholarships. Puck, Finn and Mercedes perform "Good Vibrations" for their funk assignment. Will tells them it was more rap. They admit they can't concentrate because they are still worried about Regionals. Quinn and Mercedes have a friendly talk and Mercedes suggests Quinn comes to live with her to get away from Puck's judgmental mother. Will goes to see Sue and tells her he loves her and kisses her for head. He apologises. Rachel goes to the Carmel high parking lot where Vocal Adrenalin through eggs at her. Jesse joins in and cracks one over her head. She is upset and angry by this. Will watches Sue win Nationals on TV. She comes to his apartment. She says if he kisses her she will not make the choir room her trophy room. He agrees but she backs out of it. New Directions invite Vocal Adrenalin to see them. They say they have found a number they will never pull off. They perform "Give Up The Funk." At the end Puck tells the,m they will see them at Regionals. Vocal Adrenalin are worried because they have never been able to pull off Funk. New Directions got them back.....funky style.

NEXT EPISODE: Journey- It's the big moment they have been waiting for.....Regionals. But Sue has some tricks up her sleeve to make sure they lose. But while New Directions worries about the competition and Will finds out Emma has moved on from him; Quinn has bigger problems, much bigger!
